SAO PAULO, Oct 27 (Reuters) - Brazilian power company EDP Energias do Brasil SA is no longer selling its Jari and Cachoeira Caldeirao hydroelectric plants, estrela bet login an executive said on Thursday, adding that bids for the assets came in below what EDP sees as a "fair price."
The subsidiary of Portugal's EDP had announced in May it was in exclusive talks with Canadian fund Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec (CDPQ) for the sale of the two plants located in the northern state of Amapa.
Chief executive Joao Marques da Cruz didn't rule out reopening the sale processes in the future.
